Honoring Tyngsboro's Finest Young Writers

Welcome to the Neill C. Gorman Memorial Scholarship for Young Writers.

 

This Fund was established in loving memory of Neill C. Gorman, a proud graduate of Tyngsboro High School's Class of 2000. This scholarship honors Neill’s legacy and passion for academic excellence and creative expression. Funded by contributions from family, friends and members of the THS community, the scholarship seeks to reward and support graduating seniors of Tyngsboro High School who have demonstrated exceptional achievement in academic and creative writing as they pursue the next stage of their careers.

Our mission

The Neill C. Gorman Memorial Scholarship for Young Writers commemorates the life of one of Tyngsboro High School's graduates by supporting high school seniors from his alma mater that share his love for writing.

 

Our goal is to encourage young talent to pursue their literary aspirations into young adulthood, and maintain a scholarship fund that will serve to commemorate Neill's legacy in the THS community.
